In 1964, The First Sears store Exclusive (Barbie's Genuine Mink stole), was on the market. This autumn haze mink is one of the rarest items to date. The mink stole was labeled and had a tan silk lining.

From The Mid 1960's Era there were various Barbie doll and family friends' fashions produced that never made the Mattel line as samples. These are unique to find for your collection. These fashions are very difficult to see on resale. Many other wonderful Barbie dolls and family items were made for the Japan market as well. Most are very expensive when found on the secondary market. All items shown are from my collection. No items are for sale. You are welcome to print my lists out but do not use my doll photos on web sites or auctions etc. The photos are to show selected vintage from past years to give the reader an illustration of the vintage era.

There were many new and exciting fashions added and some were repeated in different sets. These fashions are so much fun to collect/even if you don't dress to dolls. Ruth's passion for fashion, indeed!
