The 2nd Black Francie issue had dark brown hair with the same style as the first Black Francie. The 2nd issue had darker brown eyes. Her body id markings and head markings were the same as the 1st issue (see those above). Box date: 1965. Note: The 2nd issue had either a WOBF Book 1 dated 1966 or dated 1967. The 2nd issue wore the same swimsuit as the 1st. These dolls did not sell well so Mattel only offered a small supply of them. Now, this doll is one of the most sought after dolls on the Barbie doll line.  It took me years to locate mine on the secondary market.  Doll pictured above (from my collection), is now redressed in a Francie fashion. This doll was a joy to locate because of her condition.
Black Francie came in 2 issues VHTF and RARE.

Note: In 1968, Black Francie received a new hair material that would not change reddish like the first one did. Also this doll had darker brown eyes otherwise the doll was all the same. Black Francie dolls are 11 1/4" in height. Doll shown I purchased from a collector named Betty. Credits to Betty. A+ seller/collector.  Some of my NRFB items will not shared for privacy reasons. The site only shows a true description of the doll or item so collectors can recognize the dolls to help correct any misinformation on vintage. Please send in more info on any item shown on my web site so we can learn more.
