I have collected Barbie since high school. I lost all my childhood toys long ago but have enjoyed locating new examples. I do enjoy traveling to doll shows and meeting other collectors. barbie books 

I have found some wonderful items over the years. I collect mint/not played with quality/ original. I do have selected artists' Barbie dolls in my collection. I have an extensive array of vintage boxed and no box dolls, complete pak and boxed fashions, miscellaneous Barbie related items, no box fashions, and selected modern dolls and play sets/cases/books/paper items/more. A hobby can be a rewarding pastime.

VIRGINIA  introduction The setting of mountains, rolling hills and secluded mountain lakes, are where we escape. It's very beautiful here and to live surround by history is a gift. I live only moments away from Thomas Jefferson's secluded retreat, Poplar Forest, even closer is the Peaks of Otter; dinner by the picturesque lake, during any season, is a place we go to get away. The Civil war era has monumental memories of the past here. Jamestown.  Stonewall Jackson's home, Natural Bridge, breathtaking VMI.. further north, Monticello; across the river, Harpers Ferry & a legacy deeply tied in spirit to us. Robert E. Lee's surrender to Grant,  just up the road, as the locals say and much more. I do love history and the hobby of collecting my childhood toy doll, Barbie. God Bless America and all of our veterans.
