New Item 1107. Talking Truly Scrumptious Barbie. See doll pictured at left. This Barbie was made from the Francie doll head mold. Hair descriptions: Blonde hair that was styled and pulled back with no bangs. Hair was brushed back from the forehead & held in place with a rubber band. Blue eyes and rooted eyelashes.  The Talking Truly Barbie doll had a bendable leg body.

The Talking Truly doll's dress was made of a pink and rose satin and black net. The Standard Truly doll's dress was made of pale pink net over pale pink taffeta. Each doll wore extraordinary coordinating hats.  Dresses and hats are wonderful and depicted from an old fashioned design. These 2 dolls are portrayed upon characters in the movie, "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang."

This doll also came in a Standard Straight leg issue-non-talker (see doll w/green netting on hat). Her hair was the same style as the Talking Truly doll. This doll has blonde hair as well and rooted eye lashes.  Like the Talking Truly doll, she was made with the Francie head mold. See picture below at left for the Standard Truly Talking doll. See talker 3rd photo

The Standard Truly Barbie has the Midge/Barbie body markings. The Talking issue had the Mexico hands and the Standard Truly (non-talker), had the original Barbie hands with divided fingers. Neither doll pictured are for sale. Both are from my collection and are mint with all factory accessories/shoes/stand/wrist tag/box.

The doll above was found mint w/o her box liner. While surfing on eBay, I ran across a another box with a mint original liner/so I put the liner to make it complete. I marked a tag that I did this to the box in case later when my collection goes to a new home/it's known. This gives me an extra mint doll to enjoy.
